Prepare for Your Visit
Do I need to bring medical records?
We have online access to Quest, Labcorp, The Mount Sinai Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, East River Imaging, New York Medical Imaging, and Lenox Hill Radiology. If you had studies done outside of these locations that are important for your visit, please bring printed copies of the reports for the doctor to review.
Do you take insurance?
We currently participate with traditional Medicare and the Mount Sinai top tier plan. We do not participate with other commercial plans or any Medicare advantage plans. Other patients are seen as self-pay. Those with out-of-network benefits will be provided with a completed claim form to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.
Do you provide primary care?
No. Our practice is a specialty endocrinology office and does not offer primary care services. We provide evaluations, consultations, and ongoing care specifically for endocrine and metabolic conditions.
What if I’m running late to my appointment?
Our office generally runs on time. If you arrive more than a few minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate your visit and may need to reschedule your appointment.
