Elise Brett, MD, a board-certified endocrinologist in New York City, offers highly personalized medical care to adult patients at her private practice, Elise M. Brett, MD, PC. Located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Dr. Brett specializes in diagnosing and managing conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disease, obesity, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Dr. Brett received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Brett completed both her internal medicine residency and a rigorous endocrinology fellowship program at Mount Sinai Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Brett is also a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician and is endocrine-certified in neck ultrasound and fine-needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy.

Dr. Brett provides comprehensive medical evaluations and testing to uncover the root cause of issues ranging from hair loss and skin problems to abnormal menstrual cycles, fatigue, and weight gain. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Brett is an associate clinical professor at the Icahn School of Medicine and a voluntary attending at Mount Sinai and Lenox Hill Hospital. She has also contributed to several books, clinical practice guidelines, and scientific papers covering diabetes, thyroid disease, nutrition support, adrenal disease, and obesity. She served for many years on the board of directors of The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
